Ocean Health is a group of three surgeries in three different locations. To cut the costs the surgeries were looking for an innovative solution.
All three of the surgeries are dealt with by one inbound call centre. The main surgery has six permanent based call centre staff dealing with all incoming calls, from the call centre the staff can direct calls to the other surgeries which have innovative IP phones that run from the main system despite being in a different geographical location.
With two of the three surgeries running from the main site and all calls being dealt with by one centralised reception. Not only have the group saved a lot of money, they have also streamlined the call handling process.
