In Summer 2021, Exeter Science Park faced new challenges when its telephone supplier decided to withdraw from the market. ESPL took this opportunity to look at its requirements, investigate options with a view to updating its own system and take advantage of the new features and functionality available from the award winning 3CX business Telephony Solution.


ESPL was looking for a flexible and economical business-featured communications system that would be ideal for the size of the company today with the ability to expand the number of users in the future.

ESPL trialled the latest 3CX Unified Communications solution and having not experienced a cloud system previously, was impressed by the benefits it offered.  3CX offered a scalable platform to cover future growth requirements as well as cost savings delivered through utilisation of some of the existing hardware, combined with advanced functionality of having a fully featured cloud system. 3CX also provides excellent call control, call recording and management reporting, combining unlimited Video conferencing and Mobile applications for a flexible modern way of connecting and sharing information, presentations and ideas whilst keeping overheads to the minimum with IP Offices call and service plan.

IP Office designs, installs and supports the 3CX Telephone Platform from its head office in Exeter with a team of accredited and well-qualified technicians that know the complexity of telephony solutions to provide bespoke configurations to customers’ requirements.



Exeter Science Park retained their existing Telephone numbers through IP Offices porting services and IP Offices service team support the Science Park and help educate the users on the new system.

In Summary: IP Office consulted with Exeter Science Park to help them and their associates with a flexible working approach to transition them to a new service and give them the ability to work from the luxury of the Science Park’s environment as well as from their remote locations seamlessly, with cost effective services and local support, retaining their important business contact numbers.

Carbon Neutrality

IP Office Ltd announces plans to be carbon neutral at least by the end of 2025, by both reducing and offsetting its carbon emissions. The commitment reflects the focus toward becoming a more sustainable organization by improving environmental performance and driving long-term, sustainable growth.

To achieve carbon neutrality, IP Office Ltd will focus on areas including reducing travel emissions, sustainable procurement practices and purchasing more renewable energy to power offices, for example wind or solar energy. It also plans to purchase carbon credits to offset the carbon footprint and invest in projects that reduce carbon.

Protecting the planet for future generations is an important issue for people and becoming carbon neutral is a first step forward on the sustainability journey.
