Once described as a “true business entrepreneur.”
‘I’m a qualified electronics technician with over 30 years’ telecoms experience. I’ve designed complex solutions for some of the largest companies in the UK including large-scale contact centres.
‘I’m also a sports nut including football, rugby, cycling and particularly sailing, having raced at regional, national and international level. When I want to unwind I can think of nothing better than adventure motorcycling around Europe.’
Network Service Director
The backbone of the organisation
Diane is one of the company’s founding Directors and has been in comms for many years. Outside of work she enjoys cycling and running and in 2014 even completed the London marathon. Diane was the brainchild behind IP Office’s involvement with the iconic Women Can Marathon which marked 50 years since the legend Katherine Switzer defied the odds and completed the Boston marathon. When she isn’t working, cycling or running Diane can be found either in a comfy armchair engrossed in a suspense filled book, or outside gardening. Diane loves attending shows, in particular, Chelsea flower show to gain inspiration for her own garden. “We strive to provide clear and honest communications to all of our customers, and pride ourselves with great customer satisfaction”
A true technical genius
‘I’ve been in the communications industry for over 30 years since qualifying with an HND in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. I’ve worked in Engineering, Sales and Pre-Sales on a variety of equipment from System X DLEs and DMSUs to modern PBX and hosted telephony deployments. I have particular expertise in IP networking and routing required for VoIP solutions.’
‘Away from work I’m an avid competitive fencer, fencing successfully at sabre at local, national and international competitions and having represented Devon County on a number of occasions. I also enjoy travelling and photography.’
Leading forward our youthful accounts team
‘I recently joined IP Office and I’m loving it. I’m a qualified accounts technician and working towards CIMA. I like to bring fun and enjoyment to my work (didn’t expect that from an accountant, did you?) Family time matters a great deal and I love days out with my husband and young daughter. I enjoy cooking and try to get out for a run whenever I can find the time. I am delighted with my warm reception at IP Office and am looking forward to working with this great team.’
Projects Team Manager
The master of deployment and organisation
‘When I’m not running the Projects team at IP Office I will probably be travelling the world. Favourite destinations include the Far East. It’s endlessly fascinating delving into a different culture and exploring new cuisines and traditions.
The projects team is extremely busy. We always manage to stay motivated to ensure that we complete all jobs to our customers’ satisfaction.’
Customer Care Manager
An excellent technical mind paired with great industry experience
‘I started with IP Office as an engineer. I now head up the Customer Care team. I get great satisfaction from using my engineering skills and technical mind to help our customers work more smartly and efficiently. Outside of work I love walking my British Bulldog Rodge with my two boys along Exmouth seafront. I’m also a keen darts player with a steady hand. Even though my playing days are behind me I’m still a big rugby fan.
‘Best bit about my job? Working with such a young and energetic team who are so dedicated to meeting our customers’ needs.’
